Depowise exists for one reason: to enable depositaries to deliver precise, efficient, and defensible oversight that strengthens investor protection and safeguards the integrity of the global fund ecosystem.

Depowise was founded in 2021 with a single conviction: one of the most critical functions in global finance, depositary oversight, was still being run on manual processes and institutional knowledge locked in people rather than systems. From day one, the ambition was global.
Sven Peekmann and Mait Poska brought deep expertise in turning complex operational processes into highly usable technology. Artur Reiter brought decades of financial industry experience, most recently at Bloomberg, and a clear view of where the industry needed to go. Together they founded Depowise in Tallinn and built it for the world.
A small team saw that one of the most critical functions in global finance was still being run on manual processes and fragmented data, and set out to build the platform it deserved.

Technology shaped around real depositary duties, not generic assumptions. Every product decision, architecture choice, and roadmap item is driven by depositary needs, constraints, and operational realities.
Depowise focuses exclusively on depositaries. We are the technology experts in this space, and we invest deeply in the domain knowledge and platform depth that this focus demands.
We move quickly. Decisions are made close to the problem, improvements are delivered continuously, and feedback is acted on fast, while always respecting the stability required for mission-critical operations.
Trust is earned through reliable technology, not promises. Depowise is built to run critical depositary operations in production environments, with security, stability, and predictability designed in from the start.
Product evolution is shaped by real usage and practical constraints. Automation and usability are designed to reduce friction and support sustainable adoption, not to impress on a demo.
Depowise communicates directly about what the platform does, how it works, and where its limits are. We build long-term partnerships on transparency and continuity, not short-term wins.
After years of R&D, a first prototype, and early UCITS and AIF modules, Artur Reiter, Sven Peekmann, and Mait Poska formally launch Depowise and begin scaling the platform and team.
